Transparency in Grading

Items are not “play-graded." All items are visually graded using Goldmine/Discogs standards. If a potential pop or skip needs to be investigated, that section of the item will be play-tested on a hi-fi turntable, with a high-quality, MM cartridge and conical stylus on a properly balanced tone-arm. If an item is play-tested, results will be reported in the item description. When the grade of an item is questionable the item will be given the lower grade. All sealed items are assumed to be mint and graded as such.

While browsing our inventory, you may notice that Acme Wax recycles some of its item descriptions. Please be assured that each and every item in Acme Wax's inventory has been thoroughly evaluated. Discogs provides a drop-down menu of the seller's previous item descriptions and often the same description is appropriate for more than one item. Using this feature makes listing multiple items significantly easier. You are encouraged to contact Acme Wax with any questions before ordering.

Transparency in Pricing

All prices are listed in US dollars (USD). Currently Acme Wax uses Popsike.com, Discogs sales history and Discogs price suggestion feature to determine pricing. If you are interested in an item and the price is listed in a round dollar amount (eg. $30.00), Popsike and/or Discogs sales history was used to help to determine it's value. If the item is offered in anything other than a round dollar amount (eg. $12.16), Discogs' price suggestion feature was used.

Transparency in Temporary Store Closures

If you visit Acme Wax and find all the items unavailable for purchase, please be assured that we will reopen soon. Acme Wax will sometimes close randomly and without notice. If you have recently placed an order at Acme Wax and notice that the store has closed before you have received the item, please be assured that your item has been shipped. Acme Wax will not close without shipping all current orders.

General Shipping Information

All packages will be secure and sent in professional mailers.

All used products and new products that are retailed in resealable poly-bags will be shipped outside of the jacket to prevent splitting or other related damage. Factory sealed items will not be opened before shipping unless specified by buyer when order is placed and payment is received.

All items will be shipped via USPS unless buyer requests another courier; buyer is responsible for any resultant increase in shipping costs.

International / Forwarding Relay Orders:
Acme Wax proudly ships to customers around the world. However, if you are having orders shipped to a courier within the US for International forwarding, please note that we are only responsible for delivery to that address and NOT responsible for delays or issues occurring after USPS confirmed delivery to said US address. Please take advantage of USPS provided insurance and/or delivery confirmation if you need increased tracking and security for these parcels.

Orders typically ship every Tuesday and Friday. Orders may take up to 10 days to ship.
