A great pressing, but very much of the expensive side for what it is. Here’s my full thoughts on whether it’s worth picking up at resale: https://youtu.be/uTL2qrSbnIw?si=IFC6cK0bKq9hiAho

Fantastic pressing, it sounds flawless to my ears. Not a single pop or crackle.

I agree with the other reviews that the sound quality and dynamics are fantastic! Unfortunately, my copy has quite a few clicks, pops and background noises as well as a bit wobbly discs. Not so much that it affects playback but for a price point of 69€, I honestly expect this to be near perfect.
Nevertheless, super happy to finally have this on vinyl and with fantastic dynamics!

Sounds amazing to me, great pressing! Although, did anybody else notice the intro line ” And the peaches and the mangos that you could sell for me” on Pink Matter is mysteriously gone on this vinyl? 😂

Why is this labelled as a reissue if it is the first release?

Pressing sounds very very good - faithful to how I remember the mastering being on the OG CD. Good dynamics, feels spacious. The vocal distortion some other reviews allude to (good example is the words "weren't either" on "Sweet Life") is present on the original recordings and is not a vinyl defect. They've done a very nice job with this one. You can buy with confidence.

Thick, flat and dead quiet pressing straight out of the poly-lined inner sleeves. The gatefold is sturdy and handsomely designed in a no frills kind of way. The mix is very smooth overall, not super punchy, but when the lows hit you really feel them in a way that was lacking before. Once you drop side C which goes from Pyramids to Lost to Monks, you will be so enamored with the sound you'll hardly notice the absence of White; I daresay it flows better without it? It did cost around $80 including shipping, but I have no regrets. I think that the Black Friday version of Blond is slightly more dynamic overall, but I also think those songs are just sonically more spacious so it's not a super fair comparison, but it's more of just a feeling not having done any technical analysis. But they are both 5 stars.

Hey! Anybody got the Vinyl rip of the this. My copy is yet to arrive from Blonded, they are saying the first batch of records have been shipped and they are waiting on the next one which will be shipped in 2-3 weeks or so. I wish to get a taste of how it sounds.

Great to finally have an official vinyl copy of this! I had a bootleg vinyl copy a few years ago and that was it for a while. I then let that one go and stuck with a CD copy, now a few years later I have this and I'm beyond happy.

The moment that Thinkin Bout You started playing it was like magic. The sound on this is pretty good. Separation of the instruments is great, especially the bass you can really hear it clearly. Vocals do come off as just a little bit distorted at times throughout both discs but it's nothing terrible. I think the only times that the distortion got "bad"/distracting were during Super Rich Kids and Monks. Not sure if its just my pressing or if its a pressing defect or what but whatever. I later compared those 2 tracks on this pressing with a digital version of the album and my CD copy and both the digital's and CD's vocals sound just a hair clearer to me (honestly both are on the same level), so yeah not sure if this is just something with my vinyl copy in particular (I mean mine came clean and I cleaned it before spinning) or if anyone else notices the vocals on these two sounding a bit distorted/lost within the mix. I'm just nitpicking at this point but I mean the thing set me back $80.

Pyramids sounds AWESOME! it did not disappoint. Super clean sounding.

People getting upset over White (an interlude that while it is nice I've never actually seen anybody ever talk about it) getting cut is a bit silly, I get that this was about $80 retail and that at that price we should be getting the full album but honestly I'm just grateful that we even ended up receiving an official pressing of this. I remember hearing somewhere a while back that the vinyl pressing has been in the works since like 2019 and it was originally going to release last year (hence the 2024 on the spine and labels). I thought we'd never end up seeing its release but now it's finally here. For $80 you're getting an amazing album with great sound and nice packaging. If you want the full album just grab a CD copy, they are still pretty easy to find for a much more affordable price than this. I will say this though, the Blond/Blonde repress feels and sounds way better. Not comparing the albums themselves but with the overall pressing quality and packaging and whatnot I think that the Blond/Blonde repress is just a bit better, but this is still an incredible pressing that obviously beats out any of the previous bootlegs' sonics. Any fan of Frank should seek this one out.

Standouts on this pressing: Thinkin Bout You, Sweet Life, Pilot Jones, Crack Rock, Pyramids, Bad Religion & Pink Matter

                        I'd give this a 4.5/5 if I could but it only gives me the option of a 4 or a 5 and I feel like 4 isn't enough, so it's a 5/5 (but really its more like a 4.5/5).

At least this one didn't take 6 months to ship out!
