- Vinyl and Lithograph still available here if you want one:
https://shop.thisisdig.com/de/dig/artists/madonna/veronica-electronica-12%22-vinyl/0081227819781.html - gorgeous pressing (held up to the light especially). arrived fast with no warp. spinning now - not a single pop or click on either side so far. the sound is incredible! the packaging is beautiful as well, sturdy glossy inner sleeve with cool hype sticker. while i wish we got more out of a Veronica Electronica EP, i do quite love this. i don’t have the single LPs for more remixes so this is a fine sampler of sorts. really happy with this !!
- I love everything about it but my record from Amazon UK came in badly warped. I can not play it on an advanced player (with curved tonearm and weight). But can on an automatic player. Still I have to return and replace the item.
- Edited 2 days agoBeautiful presentation, nice companion to ROL . Yes, “gone gone gone” is NOT needed and another newer mix to “swim” or “mer girl” would’ve been much nicer . But the pressing, mastering and overall presentation are top notch . For being a Madonna record this is a rare treatment I hadn’t seen in a long time. Now bring on Bedtime Stories: The Untold Chapter . If Warner wants to make some money: why don’t you press a double LP of Madonna’s unreleased songs remastered ? It would be a best selling one for sure !
- Quite a nicely presented record with its silver theme for the packaging and the vinyl itself. Pressing quality is very good, zero surface noise on side A and just a tiny amount of crackle between the first couple of tracks on side B and the mastering is also very good, nice and clear with pulsing bass lines.
I like the Ray Of Light era and I’m happy to add this to my music collection. The mixes themselves aren’t anything ground breaking, but it makes for an enjoyable listen. I see some people complain that the mixes are edited, on the other hand if it was spread across four sides there’d be people complaining about that too. The album flows as it is and is a good electronic album. - Chopped up in-house edits when several of these full official mixes aren’t even released on anything. What a waste!
- As much as I initially disliked the track list and the Veronica Electronica idea, the EP seems to work and flow efficiently; the edits are mostly okay, the mastering is excellent (thank God!), and I enjoyed it! Wouldn't say it's groundbreaking - but a nice little package.
