Jazz/fusion drummer, better known as Tony Williams

Williams received most recognition for his fusion project The Tony Williams Lifetime band with John McLaughlin. He also was part of The Miles Davis Quintet in the 60s and did extensive touring with Herbie Hancock's V.S.O.P band as well.
He died of a heart attack after a gallbladder surgery in 1997, 51 years old.
