Fourth Dimension Records

Label founded by Gary Levermore of Third Mind Records in 1983 but taken over by Grim Humour fanzine's Richard Johnson (4) (aka Richo) after the first release.

Dedicated to reflecting many areas of underground music it has, over the years, released everything from noise-rock, post-punk, Japanese noise, improv, abstract electronics, so-called 'outsider' music and beyond. With its DIY sensibility it is still going strong and operates alongside Richo's other labels, Lumberton Trading Company and Winter Hill Recordings, his occasional Adverse Effect journal and his groups, Splintered and Theme. Fourth Dimension has also started publishing books.
